Director Statement

This short film, “The Secret to Good Living,” is the marriage of the things I’ve learned in my time at film school, and a sort of High School-esque sensibility, hence why I decided to cast my actual friends from that time. And despite the obvious absurdity that comes with a film about a guy trying to self-castrate, it’s also geared to talk about why male relationships often struggle to have meaningful communication and openness in the world we live in today.
